OJSC “Uralsvyazinform” became part of Rostelecom on April 1, 2011, together with the seven other Svyazinvest regional telecommunications operators and OJSC Dagsvyazinform. OJSC “Uralsvyazinform” will therefore continue to develop its operations as a regional subsidiary of Russia’s largest integrated telecommunications company.

The merger with Rostelecom will create a new company with enhanced and stable operating and financial efficiency levels, and a broader customer offering of high quality services.
